A brokerage built the way a homestead is — slowly, and to last
Michelet Homestead Realty began with a simple observation: the biggest decisions in a family's life are usually handled by someone who has never set foot on the land they're selling.

Meet JJ Graham
JJ Graham is an Associate Broker with Michelet Homestead Realty LLC, licensed in New Mexico under REC-2023-0121. She works with buyers and sellers across Roswell and the surrounding communities — homes, land, and rural property alike.
Her approach is straightforward. Walk the property. Learn what the client is actually after — the extra bedroom for a parent, the south-facing pasture, the porch that catches the evening. Then go find it, or say honestly that it isn't there yet.
No pressure, no theatrics. Just steady counsel from someone who plans to still be your neighbor afterward.
A professional portrait and full biography for JJ Graham will be placed here — send us your photo and background and we'll add it.
Three things we won't compromise on
Heritage, not marketing
We'd rather earn the next generation of a family's business than win an award this year. Reputation compounds; campaigns don't.
Straight answers
If a property is wrong for you, we'll say so. That candor is the whole relationship — and it's why our clients keep calling.
Ground-level knowledge
We know the roads, the wells, the flood lines, and which parcels hold their value. Local isn't a slogan here; it's the job.
Michelet Homestead Realty LLC is an Equal Housing Opportunity brokerage. New Mexico Real Estate License REC-2023-0121.
What people ask us first
If your question isn't here, call and we'll answer it directly — no obligation either way.
Office 575-623-8440
What areas do you actually cover?+
Our office is in Roswell, and we work across the surrounding communities, rural routes, and ranch country. If a property sits outside that range, we'll tell you honestly rather than stretch our expertise.
Do you charge for an initial consultation?+
No. The first conversation is free and carries no obligation. You'll leave knowing more about your position whether or not you decide to work with us.
How do you price a property?+
From recent comparable sales, current competition, and your property's actual condition — with the reasoning written out so you can review it. We don't quote a number designed to win the listing and negotiate down later.
Do you handle land and acreage, or only houses?+
Both. Land brings its own questions — access, easements, water rights, wells, and what the ground will support — and we treat it as the separate discipline it is.
I'm moving from out of state. Can you help remotely?+
Yes. We do video walkthroughs, send detailed photographs, and give you an honest read on neighborhoods and commutes before you commit to a trip.
There's no cost to asking
Most of our clients start with one question. We're happy to answer it before you hire anyone — whether you're six months out or six days out.
